The Lave Terrace Story

Founded in 2012, Lava Terrace Cellars handcrafts its wines for adventurous wine enthusiasts looking to explore new varietals.
Owners Dina and Duane Barker sustainably grow Brianna, Crimson Pearl, La Crescent, Marechal Foch and Marquette on their 5-acres in Bend, Oregon.

Their wine is made in Bend and has currently received six medals in their first two wine competitions – 2020 Sunset International Wine Competition and the 2020 San Francisco International Wine Competition. This recognition validates their quest to create a new path in Oregon’s viticulture and winemaking history. Deschutes County is home to several established vineyards, and more are being planted every year. We believe the volcanic soil, desert climate and high altitude enhance the flavors of the hybrid grapes grown at Lava Terrace Cellars.

The Barkers plan to open their tasting room in 2022. Visit their webpage at www.lavaterracecellars.com to signup for their newsletter or follow Lava Terrace Cellars on its social media.
